Dawson & Sanderson opened its 1st foreign exchange bureau in 1997. Currently there are 19 bureaux + 2 travel shops that sell foreign exchange as satellites of existing bureau. Offices can be found in the North East of England, Cumbria and Yorkshire.
A number of foreign exchange services are available, ranging from holiday currency and travellers cheques plus International Bank transfers and Western Union Money transfers.

Forex - Group Travel
We welcome business from groups. If there is 8 or more people in your party give us a call on 0191 233 0187 or contact us by email. Dawson & Sanderson have lots of experience of handling large groups, school trips, coach operators, social clubs, bingo parties etc.
We are also offering our group customers preferential exchange rates and offer assistance with overseas payments.
Better Exchange Rates If you are a group of people travelling abroad, you can use your bulk buying power to secure your group a better exchange rate.
Assistance with overseas payments
- Your group may be paying for overseas accommodation, coach or taxi transfers, excursions, ski hire, etc. Whatever it is, if you need to get money to your overseas supplier, we can help you.
- We can arrange for transfers to a specified overseas bank account through our International Payment partners or we can make person to person transfers via Western Union.
- Bank transfers generally take 3 to 4 days but a Western Union transfer can have your money overseas in 15 minutes.
- No matter the size of the group, we can handle it. We will organise the currency to suit you.
All we need to know is if you want the currency in bulk or separated out to individual packs. Will one person be collecting or will individuals be calling in to collect. Do you prefer to have the currency delivered?
